Since 1989, Ken Morris has been a South Florida entrepreneur, commercial property portfolio asset manager and accomplished real estate business owner specializing in corporate real estate services, tenant and landlord representation and property management.

As the General Managing Partner of an East Coast investment group, Ken first managed Belle Haven Towers – a 570-unit apartment complex in Alexandria, VA, and then managed the negotiations and disposition of the asset for $93 million in 2012 when a partnership associated with the Carlisle Group expressed interest in the property.

He was also the General Managing Partner from 2003-2014 of 300 Pine Island Associates, LTD and 300 Pine Island Associates, LTD, the respective ownership entities of suburban office buildings measuring 85,000 square feet and 50,000 square feet in Broward County.

For the past 30 years Ken has been associated with and operated Morris Southeast Group, a successful brokerage and property management company that Ken purchased from his father in the early 2000s. During his tenure there, he has completed over 500 lease and sale transactions involving office, industrial, retail and commercial space valued close to $1 billion.

He holds the prestigious SIOR designation (Society of Industrial & Office Realtors®) and regularly attends national conferences in the spring and fall to stay abreast of current trends in the commercial real estate industry and network with some of the top corporate real estate advisors from the U.S. and over 25 countries. Ken also has the RPA designation – Real Property Administrator, from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI). As an industry expert, Ken is a frequent source of information for businesses, economic development groups and media covering the commercial real estate industry.

Ken graduated from the University of Miami, School of Business and has been a South Florida resident since 1973. He is married with two teenage sons. A martial arts practitioner for many years, Ken holds several black belts in Aikido and Jui-jitsu. Ken also enjoys standup paddle boarding.

In addition to operating a full-service commercial real estate firm, Ken holds director positions on several charitable agencies, and has participated in numerous charitable organizations in the South Florida Community over the course of his career.
