Morris Southeast Group/CORFAC International Represents The Miami Guild LLC in Opening its Third U.S. Location

November 15, 2011

Plantation, FL (November 14, 2011) – In a lease transaction that was referred by Doug Marshall of The Klabin Company/CORFAC International, Morris Southeast Group/CORFAC International Principal Ken Morris, SIOR, announced today his firm has represented Miami Guild, LLC in a 10,100-square-foot lease in Miami Gardens, FL.

The lease closed earlier this month and is for 36-months. Financial terms of the deal were not released. The Miami Guild’s address is Sunshine Terminal II – 15725 NW 15th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL. Angelo Napolitano Trustee is the building owner of the multi-tenanted industrial property. Miami Gardens is an incorporated city in Miami-Dade County, located in the north-central region of the metropolitan area. The community is home to Dolphin Stadium, which is used by the Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlins.

Originally founded in Brooklyn, New York (the Brooklyn Guild), and later, Los Angeles, the Guild is a design + build studio comprised of artists, thinkers, designers and builders who create high-end trade show and marketing displays for well-known retail brands and fashion houses.

Earlier this year Marshall helped the Los Angeles Guild expand by moving them from approximately 3,750 square feet in Culver City to about 16,000 square feet of space on El Segundo Blvd. in Hawthorne, which is south of LAX airport.

Some of the Guild’s clients include Hurley’s Phantom Mobile Truck, which is a mobile sales showroom for the surf apparel company that was converted from an existing Mac Tools truck. The firm has also built showroom space for Nike, visual merchandising for Versace and installed a special lighting display in Bloomingdale’s New York City flagship location. According to Marshall, the Guild’s expansion to Miami was motivated by a client request.

“We’re excited to have a new and innovative company come to Miami and of course always pleased to have supported a CORFAC colleague and his client’s real estate requirement,” said Ken Morris.
