Daily Business Review

Food equipment distributor’s seven-year lease valued at $7 million

Dealmaker: Broker Ken Morris
The Deal: The financial services giant UBS of Switzerland leased 44,487 square feet of officeflex space early last month to Greenfield Worldtrade in the Meridian Business Campus in Weston.

Details: Greenfield Worldtrade, a commercial food service equipment distributor, will make its headquarters in the campus at 3355 Enterprise Ave.

Greenfield signed a seven-year lease valued at about $7 million to replace its office-distribution center at the Point West II in Davie.

The company will occupy almost half of the 100,000-square-foot building when it moves in June. About 10,000 square feet of the leased space is to be used for offices.

Background: Morris of Morris Southeast Group/CORFAC International represented Greenfield. Tim Talbot of ComReal represented the landlord UBS.
